Extreme Pools & Spas specializes in designing and constructing high-quality inground pools. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee our pool-building projects from inception to completion.

Position Summary :

The Inground Pool Builder Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all phases of inground pool construction projects. This role requires a blend of project management skills, construction expertise, and client relationship management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, and engineers to finalize pool designs.
  • Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Budget Management :

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and control project expenses and provide regular financial updates.
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best prices and quality.

Construction Supervision :

  • Oversee all construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Schedule and supervise subcontractors and construction crews.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or delays promptly and effectively.

Client Interaction :

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Address any client concerns or changes in project scope.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving.

Team Leadership :

  • Lead and motivate the project team to achieve project goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Quality Assurance and Documentation :

  • Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Conduct final inspections and oversee the handover process to clients.

Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on pool building preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish.
  • Skills :
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
    • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
    • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Familiarity with local building codes and permit processes.
  • Certifications :

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work on construction sites, including climbing, bending, and lifting.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
